Rugby Borough Council is holding a Community Governance Review (CGR) to consider whether to create a town council for Rugby. The ‘stage one’ consultation has been launched so that RBC can hear the views of residents. The deadline for responses is 5.00pm on 30 June 2026.
Local government in Warwickshire is undergoing reorganisation to move from the current two-tier system to one or more unitary authorities by April 2028. The reorganisation is intended to simplify local government and improve efficiency.
