Local Government Reorganisation in Warwickshire – Consultation

The consultation is open for seven weeks from 5 February to 26 March 2026. Proposals are for:
One Unitary Council – Supported by Warwickshire County Council and Rugby Borough Council; or
Two Unitary Councils (North/South) – Supported by Warwick District, Stratford-on-Avon District, Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough, and North Warwickshire Borough councils.
The final decision rests with central government after reviewing consultation feedback.
