Sport and Keep Fit

Cricket Club

We have Men’s teams which play on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays, a Ladies’ team that plays on Mondays and youth teams U-11, U-13 and U-15 that play Tuesdays and Thursdays. During the season, we also run coaching sessions for children aged from 5 to 15 yrs old. Contact Matt Goss on matt.goss@royalmail.com

Playing Field

The village playing field, children’s play area and football pitch, is located behind the Village Hall and Rose Inn. Access is from the drive to the left of the Rose Inn. Dogs are not allowed.

Pilates

Pilates is a low impact exercise class to help with balance, core strength, mobility and flexibility. Suitable for all. Two classes are held on a Monday evening from 6.00 – 7.00pm and 7.00 – 8.00pm in the Village Hall. Contact Val Taylor fitnesswithval@gmail.com or 07767 205047.

Popmo

A dance style keep-fit class held on Monday afternoons 2.30 – 3.30pm in the Village Hall. Suitable for all and helps with flexibility, balance, coordination and general fitness. For more information call Lorraine on 01788 890846.

The Willoughby Darts Team

The team plays in the Rugby District Winter league on Thursday nights. Practice is on Monday nights, throughout the year, at Willoughby Cricket Club.
